FRANK

An East Village establishment since 1998, Frank is known for its inexpensive, authentic Italian fare, expansive wine menu, and cozy atmosphere. It’s also the place where Chernow began his journey to restaurateurship, working as a bartender for 8 years before leaving to attend culinary school and open his first restaurant. Try the rigatoni al ragù, Grandma Carmella’s signature slow-cooked dish and the inspiration for Chernow’s own Italian eatery.
